A Family Christmas Reunion takes place in present day, New York City. It’s Christmas Eve and the Rodriguez family are getting together for the holiday. The family has been divided and hasn’t celebrated Christmas as a whole in a long time. Gloria Rodriguez, the mother of Isabella, Miguel and Jorge has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is reaching her end. The only people who know are Jorge and Martha, Gloria’s Mother. Jorge reached out to the rest of the family and organized a Christmas reunion based on the fact that this might be the last Christmas they all spend together with Gloria. With this reunion comes comedy of a Hispanic family holiday get together as well as confrontation of past life issues.
